“The summit is what drives us, but the climb itself is what matters.” —Conrad Anker

Alex Honnold just climbed Taipei 101 (1,667 feet) yesterday on January 24th 2026 with no rope or harness to help him. As he says “It has been my dream to climb a skyscraper”. He completed the climb in only 1 hour 31 minutes and 43 seconds as a 40 year old. No one has ever climbed the skyscraper.

He posted this image when he reached the top of the building. He also climbed the El Capitan’s 3,000-foot ‘Freerider’ route in Yosemite with no rope or safety gear.

“My comfort zone is like a little bubble around me, and I’ve pushed it in different directions and made it bigger and bigger until these objectives that seemed totally crazy eventually fall within the realm of the possible.” – Alex Honnold

  • The Secrets Of The Immortal Nicholas Flammel

“Science is magic that works.” — Kurt Vonnegut

The Secrets Of The Immortal Nicholas Flammel is a 6 book series made by Michael Scott.

It all starts when Sophie and Josh (twins) saw Dr Dee (the villain) try to take the Codex (book with the secrets of magic in it) from Nicholas Flammel (the alchemyst). Sophie and Josh got awakened (when your senses, magic and aura becomes stronger or “awakened”) and learned some of the powers.

The reason they got awakened was because once they knew about Dr Dee their whole life changed. Nicholas told them they were the twins from the prophecy with gold and silver auras. “The 2 that are 1 and the 1 that is all” is the famous prophecy that determines the fate of the world.

It could be a paradise or a nightmare. One of the twins can fix the world but the other can destroy it. Together along with their other friends along the way (Scatty, Aoife, Niten, Comte De Saint-Germain, Joan of Arc, and Palamedes to name a few) they battle Dr Dee and the dark elders (bad guys) for the Codex.

SPOILER ALERT DON’T READ THIS IF NOT FINISHED THE BOOK SERIES

Josh ends up being the destroyer of the world and becomes Marethyu (death) while Sophie ends up being the world protector and lives in the Earth Realm watching over her brother.
