“Dogs are like kids. Cats are like roommates.” – Oliver Gaspirtz

Why Cats?

Cats are loyal and are very swift/agile. While a dog can be your best friend a cat can be your partner in crime. A cats trust means that it would jump off of a cliff with you because when cats trust you that much they’d do something without thinking about it.
Cats have low maintence which means that they can take care of themselves and don’t really need to be looked out for. They also have Lower Exercise needs, which means you don’t have to take them for walks or for any runs. Cats are also indepentdant so you don’t have to look out for them as much.
Why Dogs?

Dogs are very loyal and some breeds make good guard dogs. They are easy to train and remember things very well. Dogs are known as “social ice breakers” and if you walk your dog with some random person who also has a dog both of you already have 1 common interest.
Dogs are very popular and as the saying goes “a dog is a man’s best friend”. They are very active and can help on goals to exercise more. Dogs are also very good at sensing emotions and can help in times of stress or sadness.
So Who Wins?
Well it depends on what the competition is.
If it is most popular pet the dog would win. If it was an actual fight the cat would win (unless it’s a big dog).
But in which one is best it really depends on what you think. If you like cats better than the cat would win. Same for the dog. So it’s all up to you! 😁
